Learners have fun at Winter Games

The games included netball, soccer, softball and cross country.

Felicitas School recently hosted the 2024 Winter Games. Over three days, the school accommodated more than 200 learners and 80 staff members from five schools.

The participating schools were the Con Amore School, The Hamlet School, the Fakkel School, Eureka School and Felicitas.

“Felicitas School is grateful to host an event that enables our learners to participate in sports and foster good sportsmanship skills,” said Helene Holloway, the chief speech-language therapist for Felicitas.

The results for the games:

• Netball:
Junior A saw Hamlet first, Felicitas second, and Con Amore third. The ranking was the same for the senior A and B teams.
• Soccer:
Junior A teams saw Con Amore first, Hamlet second and Felicitas third, with the same for senior A teams. The senior B teams, however, had Con Amore first, Felicitas second and Hamlet third.
• Softball:
Eureka first, Fakkel second, Felicitas third and Hamlet fourth. In the B teams, Hamlet was first and Felicitas second.
• Cross country:
For the U19 boys, Con Amore took first, with Hamlet second and third and Felicitas fourth. The U19 girls’ race saw Felicitas first, Hamlet second and Con Amore third and fourth.

In the U17 boys, Con Amore took first and second, and Hamlet took third and fourth. Felicitas took first and second in the U17 girls, while Hamlet took third and fourth.

The U15 boys saw Hamlet first, third and fourth, while Con Amore took second. For the U15 girls, Con Amore took first through third, and Hamlet took fourth.

The Con Amore U13 boys took first, second and fourth, while Felicitas took third. The U13 girls from Con Amore took first and second, and Felicitas took third and fourth.

The Con Amore U11 boys took first, second and fourth, with Felicitas in third, and the U11 Con Amore girls took first and second.
