Dalpark Primary appoints learner leaders
Extra head learner spots were opened up because of the high calibre of leaders this year.
Dalpark Primary School staff voted twice recently, in the elections and for their learner leaders.
The head learners, usually six selected learners, were of such high calibre the number of spots was bumped up to 10.
“We had the best learner representatives. They all made us change the rules this year. The top six became the top 10,” said Elmari Lombard, a spokesperson for the school.
The leaders were selected in 2023 for 2024, while head learners are assessed for the first half of the term, and then the selected learners are voted in.
