When you head off to vote on May 29, do not forget to take along your green barcoded ID book, smartcard ID, or a valid temporary identity certificate obtained from the Department of Home Affairs.
• Pens will be provided at the voting station on the day, but you can also take along your own pen.
• It is advisable to take an umbrella. Not all voting stations have an undercover queueing area, and you might find yourself queuing in the hot the sun or even rain.
• Take sunblock and water or a snack.
