Red Cross to host fun ‘walk for change’
The funds raised will go to the Red Cross as well as the Eventide Old Age Home.
A ‘walk for change’ will be hosted by the Brakpan Red Cross, situated at 7 Derby Avenue, on April 7 from 08:00.
The cost for participating is R70 for the 5km walk, R100 for the 10km walk and R45 for the children’s walk (U18s).
Refreshments and merchandise will be on sale.
Participants may choose to also walk or run the route. In addition, there will be 100 participation medals for the first 100 finishers.
All funds raised will go to the Red Cross and the Eventide Old Age Home.
