An appeal has been made to long-time Brakpan residents or local historians to assist in preserving a relic of the town.
Dalview resident Brian Bader acquired an old Brakpan bus shelter and wants to restore it.
The structure is in good shape and Brian hopes to find photos of the shelter to give him an idea as to the colour scheme so he may renovate it as close to the original as possible.
Any other information pertaining to its background, such as when it was in use, will also be appreciated.
