Gun-wielding hijacker forces female driver to stop
The hijacker pointed a gun at the woman to get her to pull over.
A female motorist was robbed of her Mercedes-Benz in Leachville on January 18.
According to Brakpan police, the hijacking took place along New Kleinfontein Road at around 06:40 when a silver Volkswagen Polo pulled up alongside the woman as she was driving.
The man in the front passenger seat pointed a gun at her and indicated that she should pull over.
The woman drove on but the hijackers continued to follow and threaten her.
She stopped and the Polo parked in front of her car. The gunman got out of the Polo, ran towards her and told her to get out of her vehicle.
She complied and the hijacker drove off in her car. The incident is being investigated by local SAPS.
