Soul Outreach thanks the community

The Ghost Riders North Chapter biker's club volunteered with Soul for their final projects of the year.

Soul Outreach and Upliftment held a Christmas event for children of the community alongside the Ghost Riders North Chapter biker’s club on December 9.

The day was spent with 40 children, who received food, drinks, ice cream, a waterslide and gifts.

“Without the help of the community and donors we wouldn’t be able to do what we do,” said Martina Stickling, the CEO and founder of Soul.

“I would also like to thank the staff and volunteers for their dedicated hard work throughout the year,” she continued.

Staff and volunteers are Erika Stickling, Michelle Stickling, Belinda Stickling (director), Robert Longman (director), Kylie de Villiers, Shaun Nel, Bradley Trublet De Nermont and Juan-Pierre Reid.

The Ghost Riders North were also volunteers at the Christmas party, helping to entertain the children. They will also be at the elder’s Christmas party, a party for 30 pensioners on December 16.

The party will be Soul’s final project for the year, giving the elderly a good time with food, drinks and music.

You can sponsor a pensioner for the party for R250. To make your donation or find out how you can get involved with Soul, contact Martina on 081 745 7182.

“We believe in a hand up, not a hand out. We do what we say and stay dedicated to honesty,” she said.
