Die NG Gemeente, Brakpan-Oos bied ‘n feesmark aan vanaf 16:00 by die kerk, wat op die hoek van Lappingstraat en Boundaryweg geleë is. Daar sal ‘n verskeidenheid stalletjies wees asook heerlike eetgoed en vermaak. ‘n Verkoping van goeie tweedehandse klere sal vanaf 14:00 tot 18:30 teen groot afslag verkoop word. Stalletjies kan ook bespreek word deur vir Alta Rudolph by 083 396 7591 te skakel.

The Lions Club will hold a book sale at Mall@Carnival. The sale will be held at the Dischem entrance from 09:00 on both days. There will be a large selection of fiction and non-fiction books on sale for only R10 each. All proceeds go towards fundraising. Call Atholl Selkirk on 083 242 0121.

Enjoy Carols by Candlelight at the Just Wheels Club on 169 Kitzinger Avenue from 17:00. Grab something to eat and drink while you peruse the flea market stalls. The Cro-knitters club will hold their monthly Sip ‘n Crochet on this day at the Village Gardens in Withok from 9:30 to 14:00. You will have to bring your own 4.5mm hook and DK wool and lunch can be ordered from the Village Gardens menu at own cost. All crocheters are welcome, whether you’ve never picked up a hook or have been crocheting for decades. Interested parties can book their spot with Heather Bendeman by contacting her on 083 580 4756.

• Brakpan parkrun is open every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (across from the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free, just bring your running tag/barcode. You run, walk or jog at your own pace.
