Ekurhuleni Mayor Sivuyile Ngodwana will lead a 5km walk/run on November 25 as a symbolic stand to join the world in observing the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign.
The mayor encourages all members of society to participate in the initiative to demonstrate their commitment to fighting against the abuse of women and children.
The 5km and 10km fun walk/run will take place from 08:30 at the OR Tambo Government Precinct in Germiston. Registration is between 07:00 and 08:00.
