EKFM beaten by San Michele Home
San Michele Home to host a soccer and netball tournament
Brakpan – San Michele Home is preparing for a mental health soccer and netball tournament in October.
As part of the preparations, the home has been having friendly games with different organisations, including EKFM.
The home played and beat EKFM in netball and soccer recently at their centre in Withok Estates.
The scores were:
Netball:
San Michele Home 7 – 4 EKFM
Soccer:
San Michele Home 7 – 2 EKFM
“The home caters for 230 patients who are intellectually and mentally disabled, hence the need to have a mental health tournament next month to raise awareness about mental health,” said San Michele Home’s marketing manager, Pulane Mbele.
