Bonsai show not to be missed
The event will feature competitions, demonstrations and more.
Suikerbos Bonsai Kai will be hosting a regional show and open day at Village Garden Nursery in Brakpan from 08:00 to 15:00 on September 30.
The best trees in the region will be on show with free entry to the public. There will be a regional new talent competition and artisans competition where bonsai will be styled.
There will be eight artisans (bonsai artists with 10 or more years’ experience) and 12 new talent artists (less than 10 years’ experience) representing their clubs in the competitions.
For R70, members of the public may attend bonsai demonstrations and talks. Tools and accessories will be on sale and bonsai owners in need of advice are welcome to bring their trees.
