San Michele receives vitals monitor from Just Wheels

The handover was done on Thursday at Benn’s Pharmacy because it contributed a significant amount to the purchase of the machine.

On September 5, the Herald reported on the donations Just Wheels Motor Club collected for House Jabes and San Michele (Just Wheels Women’s Day spoils handed over).

The charity continued when a new vitals monitor was donated to San Michele.

The monitor, incorrectly called a blood pressure monitor in the previous article, was paid for in part with the profits from the Women’s Day high tea and in part by Benn’s Pharmacy.

The pharmacy contributed R6 000 toward the monitor, the difference between the donated money and profits and the cost of the machine.

Benn’s owner, Steve Rademeyer, handed over the monitor on Thursday to Marius Bosman, the home’s centre manager. The handover was at Benn’s Pharmacy with Just Wheels members present.
