Rand Water’s insufficient water supply continues to affect parts of the city
Residents are advised to use water sparingly to allow the supply system to accumulate enough pressure.
The City of Ekurhuleni continues to closely monitor the reservoirs that are affected by insufficient water supply from Rand Water’s Mapleton Pump Station.
The reservoirs supplying the following areas remain affected:
- Brakpan;
- Etwatwa; and
- Tsakani.
The city will continue to provide roving water tankers to the affected areas until the situation normalises.
Residents are advised to use water sparingly to allow the supply system to accumulate enough pressure.
