Soul Outreach shoe drive for Barefoot Project underway

Soul Outreach Community Upliftment is collecting shoes for a fundraising initiative called the Barefoot Project.

The plan is to resell the shoes at discount prices to raise funds for the August 5 hiking challenge, where 10 boys and 10 girls will go for a hike at the Garden of Eden Park in Heidelberg. They will provide food and drinks as the children complete a 10km hike.

They will accept shoe donations until July 25.
