Have a say in CoE’s new budget and IDP plans

The draft IDP and budget documents are available for viewing on the City of Ekurhuleni’s website.

The City of Ekurhuleni has embarked on the much-awaited integrated development and planning (IDP) and budget consultative meetings.

The public participation process gets underway until April 24.

The IDP meetings are to be held across the city to allow residents to make inputs and comment on the draft reviewed (IDP) for the period 2023/24 and the draft multiyear budget 2023/24- 2024/25 and 2025/26.

The draft IDP and budget documents are available for viewing on the City of Ekurhuleni’s website www.ekurhuleni.gov.za.

Comments and suggestions on the budget and IDP can also be made through the website.

The city has also made desktops and/or laptops available at the City of Ekurhuleni libraries for the community to submit suggestions or comments on both the draft IDP and budget.

The closing date for comments is April 26.

The meeting for Thembisa will take place on April 19 at the Rabasotho Hall from 17:00.

For Kempton Park and Edenvale, the meeting will take place on April 21 at the Kempton Park City Hall at 17:00.

Members of the public are encouraged to actively participate in the process, either by physically attending the meetings or depositing their inputs and views through the various available avenues and resources provided by the city for this purpose.
