Road maintenance in full swing

Maintenance work is underway in identified areas across the City of Ekurhuleni.

The City of Ekurhuleni has hit the ground running to conduct critical maintenance on identified industrial and main roads following the passing of the adjustment budget by council recently.

The adjustment budget has availed an additional R2.9m to be used for road rehabilitation until the end of June 2023.

The maintenance of main and industrial roads started in earnest this month and will remain intense until the end of the financial year in June.

The remainder of the maintenance programme for Brakpan is:
• March 13 to 17: Springs Road (Ward 105)
• March 20 to 24: Nsabezitha Street (Ward 85)
• March 27 to 31: Ergo Road (Ward 82) and Airport Drive (Ward 31).
