Darts season starts
There is plenty of room for new players to join the Ekurhuleni East Darts Association family.
The Ekurhuleni East Darts Association (EEDA) held trials to select players to represent the EEDA at the SA Nationals.
The event took place over three days and saw top talent in action. A new committee was selected to serve for the next two years.
The committee members are Nic Goosen (additional member), Piere Smith (tournament director), Sakkie van Niekerk (vice-chairperson), Hermien Peens (treasurer), Leon Jooste (chairperson), Bernadette Ferreira (secretary), Charles Chimembiri (development) and Jacques Olivier (PRO).
With the trials complete, the EEDA will start the new league season on February 23.
Those interested in playing darts are welcome to join. League nights start at 19:30 on Thursdays at two venues: the Kingsway Club and the Brakpan Darts Club.
