Die Brakpan Dorpskomitee se maandelikse vergadering vind in die saal by Cosy Corner, wat op die hoek van Zeeman- en Heynsstaat geleë is, plaas. Die vergadering sal om 19:00 begin.
• 12 Februarie
Die Eric Holdtman Dienssentrum bied ’n driegang Valentynsete aan by die Dienssentrum om 12:00. Die koste sal R100 per persoon beloop en kinders onder die ouderdom van vyf sal gratis wees. Tydens die ete sal Neels Kok vir vermaak sorg. Besprekings kan gedoen word deur die Dienssentrum kantoor te skakel by 011 740 9565.
• February 23
Brakpan SAPS will host its monthly stakeholders’ meeting in the Rio Rooms at Carnival City at 10:00. The invitation is extended to community members, civic organisations, law enforcement agencies, the security industry and other stakeholders interested in finding solutions to jointly fighting crime.
• 26 Februarie
Die Just Wheels Motorklub hou ‘n opedag by die klubhuis wat te 69 Kitzingerlaan geleë is. Uitstalling van voertuie, vermaak en vele stalletjies kan deur die besoekers geniet word. Die toegang is gratis.
General
• Brakpan Parkrun is open every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (across from the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free, just bring your running tag/barcode. You run, walk or jog at our own pace.
• Die Brakpan-tak van die Vroue Landbou-unie vergader elke tweede Dinsdag van die maand om 10:00 by die Just Wheels Motorklub se klubhuis te Kitzingerlaan 169. Belangstellendes kan vir Elsabe Grobler by 082 891 4514 kontak.
• A second-hand clothing sale will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:00 to 11:30 at the NG Kerk Brakpan-Oos, corner of Boundary Road and High Street. Good quality clothing available at discount prices. Call Hester Bosch (083 307 0649)
