Presented by The Harvest Project and the United Hebrew Institute of Brakpan, the tours of its blue plaque synagogue, its museum, and the pristine Brakpan Jewish Cemetery are a celebration of the history of local Jewish culture.
Opening its doors to The Harvest Project, the Brakpan Shul is blessed with an equality centre, food gardens for children and an educational facility for oppressed children in society.
Children learn how to plant their own food, and benefit in many educational and therapeutic ways.
There are various tour packages ranging in price. Families and schools are welcome.
