Brakpan police are searching for relatives or friends of a man whose body was found in a field along Livingstone Street on April 24.
According to SAPS, the man, estimated to be about 35 years old, hanged himself.
No one has come forward to identify him or report him missing.
He was wearing blue jeans, black Converse All-Star tekkies and a navy hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information that may assist with the case is urged to contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Blackie Zwarts on 071 418 2033.
