Campaign to promote drug-free living

Police and the Brakpan Local Drug Action Committee to take to the streets for drug awareness.

Brakpan SAPS and the Brakpan Local Drug Action Committee will host a drug awareness campaign on June 24 in the Brakpan CBD.

The campaign will start at 08:00 in the park opposite the police station where different stakeholders will talk to homeless persons about drug abuse and how to access rehabilitation centres.

Soup and bread will be provided.

Participants will then travel to the local train station, where the majority of the town’s homeless population lives in its vicinity, to continue the campaign.

Interested members of the public are welcome to attend.
