Months may have passed but the search for missing Melvey Puseletso Shai continues.
As previously reported in the Herald, Shai (36) was last seen on April 1 when she took a taxi from Pretoria to Mall@Carnival.
According to Brakpan police, she spoke to her sister-in-law at 17:30 that day, indicating she had arrived at the mall. Shai has not been seen or heard from since.
At the time of her disappearance, Shai was wearing a blue denim and a navy blue work suit coat with light green reflectors.
She had gold-coloured braids, weighs about 67kg and is 1.6m tall.
