Family of road accident victim sought

No one has has come forward to identify the deceased or report him missing.

Brakpan police are searching for relatives of a man who died after being struck by a car on October 17.

The incident took place around 20:00 along the N17 highway near the Mkancwa Village informal settlement in Maryvlei.

The man, who is believed to be in his early 50s, is believed to have been homeless.

A case of culpable homicide is under investigation, but no one has come forward to identify the deceased or report him missing.

Family members or anyone with information that may assist with the case are urged to contact the investigating officer, Det Const Lindokuhle Gumede, on 011 744 7100.
