Motorist robbed at gunpoint
The motorist was instructed to hand over his belongings and the robbers fled with the toolbox.
The occupants of a red Volkswagen Golf 6 stole a toolbox and its costly content of tools valued at R22 000 from a motorist in Dalpark on Sunday evening.
According to information received from Brakpan police, the victim was travelling in a NP200 bakkie near the intersection of Athlone Avenue and Tambotie Street at 19:40 when the occupants of the Golf indicated for him to pull over.
Assuming it was the police, the motorist stopped on the side of the road.
He was approached by three men from the Golf, who threatened him with firearms. The motorist was instructed to hand over his belongings and the robbers fled with the toolbox.
A case of armed robbery is under investigation.
