Some vaccinations sites operate on Sunday in Ekurhuleni

Four vaccinations sites operate on Sunday in Ekurhuleni.

In strengthening efforts to get more people vaccinated, some vaccination sites in the City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) will be operating on Sundays.

MMC for Health and Social Services Clr Nomadlozi Nkosi said having the vaccination sites operating on Sundays will assist in fast-tracking the vaccination roll-out.

“The Gauteng Health Department’s decision to administer vaccines on Sundays in Ekurhuleni is to ensure the success of the vaccine roll-out.

“CoE encourages all those who are eligible to visit the vaccination sites and make use of the opportunity to get their inoculations to protect themselves and their loved ones,” said Nkosi.

Vaccines will be administered at Kobie Muller Hall at 1 Angus Road in Germiston, Phola Park Community Healthcare Centre at corner of Letutula and Mzkhulu streets in Thokoza and Daveyton.

Main Community Healthcare Centre on Bhengu Street in Daveyton between 09:00 and 14:00.
