Man sought for questioning

Brakpan police have released a photo of a man wanted for questioning in connection with a case of assault and attempted rape.
According to Capt Pearl van Staad, spokesperson for the Brakpan SAPS, the incident took place in Brenthurst on March 23.
“The 16-year-old victim was attacked at her residence in the outside room in the backyard,” she said.
“While in the room looking for a box to make a gift for a friend, an unknown man blocked the door, strangled her and attempted to rape her.”
