Muriel Brand matrics score 100 per cent

The school had 23 learners write the exams, 20 of whom passed with bachelor's pass admissions.

Muriel Brand School is exceptionally proud of the school’s matric class of 2020.

Despite a challenging year, the learners achieved a 100 per cent pass rate. The school had 23 learners write the exams, 20 of whom passed with bachelor’s degree admissions.

Ten distinctions were obtained and the school’s top achievers are:

• Arthur Snyman: distinctions for Afrikaans (first additional language), maths literacy and tourism.
• Della Cooper: distinctions for life orientation and tourism. Cooper also received a Ministerial Achievement Award.
• Rakshita Dayar: distinctions for life orientation and tourism.
• Mpumelelo Ngozo: distinction for tourism.
• Bianca Cosway: distinction for computer applications technology.
• Jason Kumm: distinction for maths literacy.
