Health-care services open throughout festive season

Facilities rendering Saturday extended clinic services will, however, be closed on December 26 and January 2.

Primary health-care facilities in the City of Ekurhuleni will remain open throughout the festive season.

Facilities rendering Saturday extended clinic services will, however, be closed on December 26 and January 2.

Residents are therefore advised to use the community health-care centres and hospitals which are operational 24 hours a day.

Residents in the East sub-district, under which Brakpan falls, can visit the following facilities:

• Saturday extended hours services

Brakpan Clinic, Geluksdal Clinic, Springs Clinic, Barcelona Clinic, Duduza Clinic and Emaphupheni Clinic.

• Twenty-four hour services

Daveyton Main Community Day Centre, Kwa-Thema Community Health Centre, Nokuthela Ngwenya Community Health Centre and Phillip Moyo Community Health Centre.

• Hospitals

Far East Rand Hospital and Pholosong Hospital.
