Planned water supply interruption in parts of Brakpan

Customers are urged to store enough water to utilise during this time.

Parts of Brakpan will be without water from 8am on November 25 to 3pm on November 26.

The water supply interruption is due to the connection of a new water supply pipeline.

The connection was scheduled to take place last week but was cancelled.

Customers are urged to store enough water to utilise during this time.

The following areas will experience no supply of water:
• Sallies Village
• Vulcania
• Maryvlei
• Ergo informal settlement (Mkhankwa Village)

There will be low water pressure in Withok Estates and Brenthurst.

Water tankers will be available at:
• Uranium Road, Vulcania
• 16th Avenue, Sallies Village (before the railway line and another after the railway line at Mkhankwa)
• Savemore Shopping Centre in Maryvlei
• San Michele Home, Withok Estates

The City of Ekurhuleni reminds residents to ensure their taps are closed for the duration of the outage to avoid air running through water meters, which may cause damage.
