Armed robbers hit Dalview liquor store

Just over R7 000 in cash was stolen.

A gang of five men made off with cash and booze after robbing a Dalview liquor store on Tuesday.

According to information received from Brakpan police, three men entered the Hendrik Potgieter Road store and headed to the fridges.

Another man then approached a cashier and showed her a gun tucked into the waistband of his pants and demanded she open the tills.

When the cashier told the man she doesn’t have the keys to the tills, another gunman cocked his firearm threateningly.

The gunmen emptied the tills while the other robbers took liquor.

Just over R7 000 in cash was stolen.

The value of the liquor was not disclosed.

A case of business robbery is under investigation.
