The East Rand Business Women are back on track and held a Covid-19 catch-up lunch at B Unique in Boksburg North on November 21.

It was a fun-filled event where the women enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, socialised, shared anecdotes and made plans for the next meeting.

All Covid-19 protocols were followed to curb the spread of the virus.

Furthermore, the new committee of the East Rand Business Women was announced: Karen Herbst (chairperson), Ingrid Delport (vice-chairperson), Antoinette du Toit, Lorna Enslin and Tertia Schalkwyk.

Karen and Ingrid described the event as a success, adding that it was wonderful to see their fellow businesswomen again.

“The women had a great time and I’m truly grateful that we are allowed to have meetings again. The lockdown was difficult for everybody and we missed our get-togethers,” said Karen.

This was also the business women’s first function since their meeting at Hecker Nursery on March 11.

On November 28, the East Rand Business Women will hold their next function at Summer Place and Die Campbells is going to perform.

The theme of the function is Keep it Country.
