Members of the Benoni Flying Squad recovered a stolen white Volkswagen Golf in Tsakani over the weekend.
Information received led the squad to Ngwane Street where the vehicle, which was reported stolen in Crystal Park, Benoni, was found.
In addition to this success over the weekend, members made a further eight arrests, recovered one firearm with three live rounds of ammunition and recovered a further five motor vehicles.
The arrests and recoveries were effected in different areas, including Benoni, Thembisa and Midrand.
