Member of Mayoral Committee for Finance and Economic Development Clr Nkosindiphile Xhakaza will today (June 25), table the Budget and Integrated Development Plan (IDP) for the 2020/2021 financial year at the Germiston Council Chambers through virtual platforms.
Following public participation processes with the citizens of Ekurhuleni, Xhakaza will among other things outline how the city will continue to ensure that poverty and unemployment is addressed through inclusive economic growth in Ekurhuleni.

The event starts at 10am and members of the public wishing to follow the virtual budget speech address may go to the following platforms:
- Business Day TV: DSTV channel 412, KasieFM, Voice of Tembisa and EKFM
- A link will be sent to city social media platforms (Facebook, website and Twitter) and will automatically lead to Youtube where the speech will be broadcast for the public.
- Live-streaming at Ekurhuleni rates halls and clinics.
