Clicks to provide free primary health-care services

The free primary health-care services include temperature, blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose screenings.

The Clicks Helping Hand Trust, part of South Africa’s largest retail pharmacy chain, will provide free primary health-care services every afternoon from 1pm for the next six weeks at selected Clicks clinics nationwide for patients without medical aid.

“During these uncertain times, a lot of people, especially those who are on chronic medication, have concerns about their health and can’t afford or don’t have access to a GP,” said Clicks chief store operations officer Sedick Arendse.

“We invite customers who don’t have medical aid to book a free consultation with their local clinic sister, who can give them health advice and information, as well as the necessary preventative checks, to help them manage their health and know their health status.”

The free primary health-care services include temperature, blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose screenings. This service is free for patients without medical aid, and available until May 31.
