Hospice East Rand has 11 charity shops situated on the East Rand and items can be delivered to one of these shops when lockdown is over.

Tired of playing board games, binge watching your favourite series or reading that book?

Now is the perfect time to declutter and clean out those cupboards you’ve been threatening to tackle for some time.

Out with the “old or unused” is not just a good clean out, but can be cathartic in these uncertain times.

While cleaning out all your cupboards, remember that Hospice East Rand would be extremely grateful for your unwanted goods.

According to Brenda Bisschoff, administration manager for Hospice East Rand, the organisation relies heavily on donations from the community, whether it be monetary or unwanted household items.

Hospice East Rand has 11 charity shops situated on the East Rand and items can be delivered to one of these shops when lockdown is over or for bigger /bulk items Hospice East Rand can collect when lockdown is over.

The shops are closed during the lockdown period.

The Hospice East Rand charity shop in Brakpan is situated at 369 Prince George Avenue.
