Nineteen people were arrested in Brakpan from March 27 to 31 for contravening the Disaster Management Act (failure by person to be confined to residence during lockdown/failure by business or entity to cease operations during lockdown).

• Drunk driving: 2
• Theft: 1
• Assault GBH: 1
