Thirty-two officers from the Brakpan Police Station have been promoted.
The majority of the officers have been promoted from constables to sergeants, while others have been promoted from sergeants to warrant officers.
The promotions will come into effect soon.
The officers were congratulated by Brakpan SAPS station commander Brig Fredl Jonck on Friday.
