The second group of recipients of Sherwood Pick n Pay’s Community Board Project recently received their prizes.
The supermarket and sponsor Klipdrif Braai gave away three shopping vouchers valued at a total of R3 500 to two schools and a care centre in Brakpan.
Boxes featuring the names of local organisations or schools are on display in the store and shoppers can show their support by placing their till slips in the box of their choice.
Every month, the three organisations with the most till slips will be named the winners.
