Margaret Hirsch hits the airwaves on Caxton Radio

Caxton Radio is a hyper-local online streaming radio station playing on Caxton Local Media news websites across Ekurhuleni.

Margaret Hirsch, COE of the Hirsch’s Group and a champion of women’s empowerment, was recently invited for an interview at the Caxton Radio studio at Emperors Palace.

Margaret has become a leading example to businesswomen in South Africa – coming from a humble background, to co-founding and running the multimillion-rand appliance and electronic retail organisation, Hirsch’s.

Customer loyalty is what has made Hirsch’s a household name and they were recently voted as “People’s Choice” in the appliance, electronics and air-conditioning retail outlets by newspaper readers in KZN and Tshwane.

“What I love in our industry, is seeing two and sometimes three generations from the same family coming through to furnish their homes with us,” explained Margaret.

“Keeping our customers happy and providing them with a unique, hands-on service has helped our business grow and we are continuously finding ways to improve on our service to them.

Over the years, Margaret has been recognised for the good work she has done in the business community throughout South Africa, helping aspiring entrepreneurs to reach their goals and motivating school girls from underprivileged areas to attend school on a regular basis with The Girls With Dignity project.
