Creating a space where business owners can be mentored

The guest speaker at the recent event was Steve Swartz.

Hirsch’s Carnival recently hosted a network platform for business people in the Brakpan business community.

Brakpan Business Connect is a business networking group aimed at creating a platform for business owners and representatives to meet on a regular basis with the purpose of exchanging business opportunities amongst its members.

This network is to create a network platform with a difference – a safe space where business owners can interact, ask advice, be mentored, grow, be inspired, be encouraged and grow long lasting and profitable business relationships.

The guest speaker at the recent event was Steve Swartz.

He is the MD and owner of Vandasol (Pty) Ltd, a multi-division business based in Ekurhuleni which is active in various sectors of the SA business environment, ranging from on-line radio with business and entrepreneur development themes, management training programmes, youth development, corporate events and entertainment, marketing services and business contact registries.

Steve spoke about super networking.

In today’s modern world we have reason to be consistently communicating, managing and recognising.

So what is super networking about?

• Digital media – A paperless presence.

• Social media – Letting everyone know what and how.

• Multi-level presence – several digital platforms.

• Multi zone presence – Different message types on different platforms.
