• Friday – A man was robbed in the driveway of his Brenthurst home after withdrawing a large sum of cash from a bank in Springs.
Returning from the bank, the victim arrived at his Tweedy Road residence around 1pm and was confronted by two balaclava-clad men as he parked his car.
The victim was robbed of the cash at gunpoint, as well as his two cellphones and laptop.

The robbers made their getaway in a white Mercedes-Benz.
* Tools and other valuables were stolen during a break-in at a home in Tinker Road, Brenthurst.
• Saturday – Two cars were stolen.
A blue Volkswagen Polo was stolen from Wenden Avenue, and a red Nissan 1400 bakkie was stolen from Voortrekker Road.
The bakkie was recovered and a suspect was arrested.
* A home in Olga Street, Brenthurst, was burgled of a TV, a gaming console, kitchen appliances, blankets and other household items.
