The body of a 30-year-old man was found near Koot Street in Withok Estates last week.
Brakpan police were alerted to the discovery on Monday around 5pm and found the body concealed in long grass near the railway line.
The deceased’s face was bloodied and he was wearing only underwear.
A case of murder is under investigation and police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
