Father’s Day is the ideal occasion to present your dad with some really unforgettable and exciting gifts.
It is also the day to express your love, respect and care for one of the most influential individuals in your life.
Firstly, make a list of your dad’s interests and then find out which of them fits Father’s Day most. Your father may like flowers, reading, watching movies, fishing or some other adventurous sports.
• A fishing rod, a chess set, an all-time suspense novel or a classical action movie may be just as charming for him as fresh flowers or a box of sweets. If he is a nature lover, a camera could be the perfect Father’s Day gift for him. You could also find some old photographs and recreate the old magic by getting them framed in a new way.
• Serving him coffee and breakfast in bed is a great, time-tested Father’s Day gift idea. Invite all your father’s closest and oldest friends to your home and throw him a surprise party – he will be overjoyed.

• Look for photographs of his memorable moments from his student life at school, university, college or time with his family and other social activities. Create a scrap book especially for him. Early dreams are always treasured by everybody and anything that takes him down memory lane will be joyfully received by your father.
• Then there are those dads who enjoy practical items and ideas, so stick to your dad’s specific needs and requirements. Gifts such as ties, wallets, belts, executive diaries, watches, an electric massager or even memberships to clubs may be other fantastic Father’s Day gift ideas. For a father who loves golf, a golf club, bag or golf balls will make him feel great.
• If your dad is a gardening fanatic, present him with a rare plant species, a flowering cactus or an evergreen variety of plant. You could also buy him head gear to keep away the sun or a pair of gardening shoes.
• Tickets to a rugby game or other sporting match that he would enjoy watching will make a sport-loving father’s day. If your dad is a music lover, give him a CD or DVD featuring his favourite hits.
You can also prepare a special lunch or dinner, or a cake with “Happy Father’s Day” icing on it. To end with, whatever you decide to do, always try to spend some time together with your dad.
