• Robbery with firearm: 1
• Theft: 1
• Shoplifting: 2
• Residential burglary: 2
• Business burglary: 1
• Theft: 2
• Business robbery: 1
• Common assault: 1
• Rape: 1

Arrests:

• Possession of hijacked truck: 1
• Illegal immigrants: 1
• Shoplifting: 2
• Theft and possession of stolen goods: 4

Business robbery:

• A cashier was tied up by three men during a robbery at a shop along Northdene Avenue.

The incident took place yesterday (Thursday) at about 12.30pm.

The robbers fled with cellphones, cash, cigarettes and other goods.

Armed robbery:

• On Wednesday, a man was robbed of his cellphone and three packets of cigarettes by two men along Victoria Avenue.

The victim was confronted by the robbers, one of whom was armed with a gun, as he was getting into his car at about 6.30pm.

Burglary:

• Goods Road.

The break-in took place on Wednesday.

Stolen: A TV, computers, cellphones and cash.

• Tafelboom Street, Dalpark Extension Six.

The home was burgled yesterday.

Stolen: A TV, a DVD player and cash.

• Strauss Street, Van Eck Park (business).

The company was broken into yesterday.

Stolen: A TV and two computer monitors.
