The Brakpan Museum NPC, a non-profit company that aims to promote the preservation and conservation of heritage resources and historic cultural places in Brakpan, has nominated the old Brakpan Town Hall for consideration as a National Heritage Site.
The nomination forms part of the organisation’s observance of the town’s centenary this year.
If successful, the organisation intends to establish a museum at the hall, with plans to launch the institution during the Brakpan Centenary Celebrations in August.
