Armed robbery:

• A woman was robbed after withdrawing a large sum of cash from a bank at Mall@Carnival yesterday (Monday).

Returning from the bank, the victim arrived at an address along Voortrekker Road around 1pm and was confronted by two balaclava-clad men as she parked her car.

The victim was robbed of her handbag at gunpoint and the robbers fled in a grey Audi.

Police suspect the victim was followed from the bank.

Burglary:

• Alexandria Avenue, Dalview (business).

The break-in took place yesterday.

Stolen: A kettle, computers, laptops and other office equipment.

• Voortrekker Road (business).

The burglary occurred yesterday.

Stolen: Electric cables.

• Hamilton Avenue.

The home was broken into yesterday.

Stolen: Clothes, curtains and cash.

• Cardigan Street, Dalview.

The residence was burgled on Saturday.

Stolen: A TV, electric tools, gardening equipment and kitchen appliances.

• Numbi Avenue, Leachville.

The break-in took place yesterday.

Stolen: Cooking pots, a fridge, a TV and jewellery.

Theft from motor vehicle:

• On Sunday, a bag containing clothes and toiletries, a car radio and a speaker were stolen from a vehicle parked at Carnival City.
