While patrolling known drug dealing hotspots in Brakpan last week, EMPD Equestrian Unit members arrested an 18-year-old man found in possession of dagga and crystal methamphetamine.
According to EMPD spokesperson Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago, EMPD members witnessed the teenager engage in exchanges with several people around midday on Tuesday.

The man was approached whereupon 32 ziplocks of dagga and 25 small packets (balls) of crystal meth were found in his possession.
“The suspect was arrested and detained at the Brakpan Police Station on charges of possession and dealing in narcotics,” added Kgasago.
