Weekend crime round-up

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:

• Friday – A white Mazda 323 was stolen from Venter Street in Dalview.

* A business in Bessieheide Street, Dalpark Extension 13, was burgled of plumbing supplies.

* Batteries were stolen from several trucks parked along Manganese Street in Vulcania.

• Saturday – A white Toyota Hilux bakkie was stolen from Mall@Carnival.

* Power tools, a gaming console, a TV and other household items were stolen during a break-in at a home in Lukas Steyn Street, Withok Estates.

* A car parked at an address along Koot Street in Withok Estates was broken into.

The vehicle’s radio, a handbag containing personal items, cash, a wristwatch and collectable coins were stolen.

• Sunday – Two break-ins took place.

A home in Umkomaas Avenue, Dalpark Extension Six, was burgled of a TV, while three TVs and a laptop were stolen from a residence in Koos Vorster Street, Minnebron.
