Arrests:

• Providing false name and ID number: 1

House robbery:

• A domestic worker was tied up during a robbery at her employer’s house along Ruth Street in Sunair Park yesterday (Tuesday).

Three men gained entry to the house around 10.30am.

They held the victim at gunpoint and bound her hands and feet with cable ties.

The robbers ransacked the house and fled with jewellery, a microwave, a TV, a DVD player and other household items.

Hijacking:

• The driver of a blue Chevrolet Captiva was hijacked of his vehicle in Minnebron last night.

Travelling along Lower Road at about 9pm, the victim was stationary at a stop sign when a white Volkswagen Polo, which had been driving behind him, sped past and stopped, obstructing his path.

Two men armed with guns alighted the Polo and forced the victim out of his vehicle.

The gunmen sped off in the Captiva, with the Polo following.

 

Burglary:

• Boyd Street, Brenthurst.

The home was burgled on Sunday.

Stolen: A laptop.

• Tinker Road, Brenthurst.

The break-in took place yesterday.

Stolen: A laptop, a DVD player and jewellery.

• Lawrence Street, Dalpark Extension 11.

The burglary occurred yesterday.

Stolen: Tools, a ladder and a wheelbarrow.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A white Toyota Corolla was stolen from Muir Avenue yesterday.

Theft from motor vehicle:

• Yesterday, a car parked along Rossouw Crescent in Minnebron was stripped of its wheels.
