State-of-the-art school opened in Langaville

“We have gathered here to kick-start the Gauteng’s schooling calendar and to provide a solid lifeline to the many children of this community.”

“We have gathered here to kick-start the Gauteng’s schooling calendar and to provide a solid lifeline to the many children of this community,” said Mpya.

The Gauteng province claimed first position for the matric class of 2018, scoring 87 per cent pass rate.

As such, Lesufi emphasised the importance of improving the quality of education system in township schools to maintain achievement of a higher pass rate and to prepare learners from poor backgrounds to compete globally with their counterparts.

“It is our continued investment in academic infrastructure, reflected in the state-of-the-art facility that Menzi Primary School is, that has given us sustained ability to improve the performance of our education system,” said Mpya.

“In that sense, Menzi Primary School is going to be a valuable pillar of our continued push to make education fashionable, qualitative and successful in Gauteng”.

The school is part of a larger social network that makes up a community.

As such, Mpya urged the community of Langaville to take care of and protect the educational facility.
